Dive into the refreshing Buley Rockhole pools in the magnificent Litchfield National Park and absorb the sights and sounds of the bush around you.
This popular swimming spot in the magnificent Litchfield National Park is a great place to wind down after exploring the park. Wade through the pools, absorb the scenic bush surrounds or sit and relax as the cool water rolls over your shoulders. Open for most of the year except in periods of heavy flood where fast flowing water presents conditions too dangerous for swimming.
You can take the Florence Creek Walk (start at Buley Rockhole or upstream at the picnic area of Florence) that will take you past some of the lesser-known swimming spots. The walk is an easy 3kms one way (approximately 1.5 hours in duration).
To avoid the crowds, try and visit early morning or late afternoon, or take the walk along Florence Creek which leads you to Florence Falls via some lesser known swimming spots.
Buley Rockhole is 2WD accessible, camping is available with toilet facilities and camping fees will apply.
